PinPoint Field Unit

A Remote Data Collection system based on a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 PDA in a hardened enclosure.  The device is outfitted with a touchscreen, a GPS receiver , and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and (optionally) a GPRS transmitter for remote data upload.

The device is pre-configured with the PinPoint Remote Software which allows the simple pushing of a virtual button to mark, timestamp, and categorize a location issue needing to be documented.

These devices are typically mounted on the dashboard of a vehicle but they can be easily removed to allow for approximately four hours of data collection while on battery power.

The Field Unit also allows for an unlimited number of screen profiles to be created for data point categorization.
